Your BCYC Adult Sail School registration includes a 2 month membership to BCYC.

Spring Adult Sail School Schedule

Announcing BCYC's Spring Adult Sail School

April 2 - 16

Three classroom sessions on Wednesday nights:
- April 2, 9 and 16
- 7:00pm - 9:00pm
  (April 2nd only will start at 6:30 to get administrative things out of the way)
Four On-the-Water sessions:
- Two Saturdays: April 5th and 12th
- - Mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - Afternoons from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Two Sundays: April 6th and 13th
- - Mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - Afternoons from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Reserved for make-ups due to weather: Saturday, April 19th
A traditional, yet optional, sunset “sail out” hosted by BCYC members aboard their own sailing vessels on Wednesday, April 23rd

...All for an extremely reasonable $425 per person

The objectives of BCYC's Basic Sail School are to produce graduates who can rig the sails of a small boat; assess the wind; sail away from the dock; perform the basic maneuvers of tacking, jibing, and trimming sails; and sail safely back to the dock. We also provide information about federal and state safety requirements, emergency procedures, and “local knowledge” of nearby waters.

Class is limited to 20 Adults and will fill up quickly, so register early!

Your registration application and $425 per person fee may be paid online.
