Richard Sanchez' Bio:

I have been a lifelong resident of Tampa and a member of the Egmont Key Alliance for about 12 years. I have been president for 10 years. I first came to Egmont Key during the annual Discover the Island event in November. I joined soon after and have been active there ever since as a volunteer.

I am currently “retired” but I stay busy with the Alliance, the Florida Lighthouse Association and other environmental or historical groups. In my working life, I held various positions with GTE Florida which became Verizon. I also worked for a few years doing IT work with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
